Multiple streams of support: They work closely with their fully licensed supervisors on your case.
Since student interns are currently in their master’s programs, they have the most up to date knowledge of best practices within the field.
Students are just emerging in the field and bring enthusiasm and energy to their work.
They have a smaller case load that allows for more focused attention

FAQ:
What should I expect in my first therapy session?
Your therapist will explore your goals and expectations for therapy. They work collaboratively to create a plan for goals that can be accomplished in short term work.
Can I use my insurance to pay for therapy?
Interns and clinical practicum students do not accept insurance. They are out of pocket on a sliding scale basis. We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield however our waitlist is full.
How long are the therapy sessions?
Therapy sessions are 45 minutes for an individual session and 60 minutes for couples and family sessions.
How often do I attend therapy sessions?
We find that therapy is most effective on a weekly basis.
Can I speak to the therapist before I start?
Yes! You will be set up with a free 15 minute phone consultation with your therapist prior to meeting. On this call they will share more about themselves and
How much does it cost?
Session costs range from $50-85 per session. If you have never tried therapy you can schedule a first free session here. If cost is a barrier we offer further reduced rates via Open Path.
