Women of Color
A support group for women of color looking to develop ways to relate to themselves and the way they relate to others while avoiding further marginalization
Women of Color Support Group
Women of color play a critical role in our society, but often find themselves working too hard to navigate a system that marginalizes them due to their multiple identities (race, gender, sex, ethnicity, class, etc.).
While this has been an ongoing battle, the system’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic definitely did not help things! Many women this year have been faced with navigating negative stereotypes and attitudes at work and/or at home, accessing quality healthcare without bias or discrimination, remote learning, and parenting 24/7 (just to name a few)!
With everything going on, it’s been hard to find support when it seems everyone else’s cup is full or that they wouldn’t understand.
