New & Expecting Moms of Color

Virtual Support Group

A group that focuses on normalizing and supporting the transition to motherhood.

New & Expecting Moms of Color

Are you a woman of color and currently expecting or recently given birth? Then you are embarking on a new journey and we want to invite you to join KerriAnne via Zoom for therapy Brooklyn’s first expectant and new mothers group.

The group will focus on normalizing and supporting the transition to motherhood while addressing the unspoken changes, expectations, judgements, limitations, and associated fears. During a woman's pregnancy she is often overwhelmed by many unavoidable existential questions such as: what my body will mean after pregnancy or will I be a good mother?  This group's overarching aim is to address and reduce society's portrayal of pregnancy and motherhood as an isolating journey in a woman’s life while simultaneously celebrating the uniqueness to each and every woman’s pregnancy journey and story.
