Grief and Loss Group
A ten session group for those that have lost someone during the times of covid-19.
Grief and Loss Group
Grief is the form love takes when our loved ones pass away. If you’ve lost a loved one during the covid-19 crisis, join Liz and Anjali via Zoom for Therapy Brooklyn’s first bereavement group. In this group, you can learn how to adjust to life without your loved one and find community with others who will be able to relate to your grief during these isolating times. We understand that we are in the midst of an unprecedented period of time, which may exacerbate feelings of isolation and despair.
In this group work, you will make a 10 session commitment to yourself and group members. You will have the opportunity to share your experiences, thoughts, and emotions to build community with those who have suffered loss as well. We believe expressing one’s authentic self with community can be an antidote to these feelings. You will also be called to think more deeply about your relationship with others, and to process how you are feeling with the group collectively.
